The Program’s learning content is designed to be best suited for individuals who have completed at least a secondary education and have up to five years or more than 5 years of work experience, but have not been responsible at any point for directly managing any colleagues.
The McKinsey.org Forward program breaks down into two levels: Core Skills and Network.
Core Skills (10 weeks): This level includes more than 16 hours of highly interactive, self-paced digital courses. Core Skills will introduce the selected candidates to several practical skills, such as adaptability, effective communication, problem-solving, well-being, innovative ways of working in a digital environment, and developing their digital toolkit, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, which we recently introduced to the program.
Network (ongoing): After graduating from the first level, the trainees can join a vibrant global network of young talent and get exclusive access to further learning and networking events.
Core Skills level has a series of requirements and specific deadlines that will be highlighted at the beginning of the program. McKinsey.org Forward is an online learning program, so the learning is fully virtual and digital. The interactive learning journey will comprise a variety of formats, including digital courses, virtual learning events, assignments, and reflection exercises. The participants will dedicate about two hours a week over ten weeks to this learning program. Participants who complete the requirements for the Core Skills level will receive a certificate of completion and their own personalized digital badge, which is shareable across social media accounts and other digital channels.
The McKinsey.org Forward program has empowered over 500,000 participants worldwide, helping them build the resilience, confidence, and skills necessary to overcome career challenges and make a meaningful impact.
