AFRISE Challenge 2026: African Startup Competition Offering $600,000 in Technology Credits
The AFRISE Challenge 2026 is a flagship entrepreneurship competition designed to support young African innovators and startup founders working to solve critical challenges across the continent.
The initiative is led by Concordia University and Hindsight Ventures and focuses on empowering youth entrepreneurs to drive economic growth, innovation, and job creation in Africa.
The program aims to identify high-potential African founders with scalable ideas that can address major economic and social challenges across industries.
Selected participants will join a 4-week accelerator program, where they will receive mentorship, leadership training, and startup development support from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.
At the end of the program, the top startups will present their ventures during an International Demo Day, where they will pitch their solutions to investors and entrepreneurship support organizations for potential funding opportunities.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be African youth aged 18–35
• Apply individually or as a team with a startup idea or early-stage venture
