The GreenCheck Solidarity Academy 2026 is a fully funded global fellowship designed to empower young climate activists and changemakers aged 18 to 30. This intensive program combines training, mentorship, and seed funding to help participants launch or scale impactful climate projects in their communities.
Organized by the GreenCheck Initiative in partnership with international environmental organizations, the academy focuses on building leadership capacity, fostering cross-border collaboration, and driving tangible action on climate justice.

Phase 2: Regional In-person Bootcamps (September 2026)
Selected fellows will attend a 5-day residential bootcamp in one of four regional hubs:
Africa Hub (Nairobi, Kenya)
Asia-Pacific Hub (Bangkok, Thailand)
Latin America Hub (Bogota, Colombia)
Europe/Middle East Hub (Berlin, Germany)
These bootcamps focus on hands-on project design, peer learning, and direct mentorship from industry leaders.
Phase 3: Project Implementation and Mentorship (October - December 2026)
Fellows will return to their communities to implement their climate projects. During this phase, they will receive:
Seed funding grants (ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 based on project scope)
One-on-one mentorship from experienced climate practitioners
Access to a global alumni network for ongoing support and collaboration
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age: Between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application.
Commitment: Demonstrated passion and active involvement in climate action, environmental justice, or sustainability initiatives.
Project Idea: A clear proposal for a climate-related project or initiative that can be implemented within 6 months.
Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Availability: Ability to commit to the full 6-month duration of the program, including virtual sessions and the in-person bootcamp.
Nationality: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide.
