
The CaribOx Visiting Fellowship Scheme is a research fellowship programme that supports academic collaboration between the Caribbean region and the University of Oxford.

Support academic exchange between the Caribbean and Oxford
Strengthen research capacity in Caribbean institutions
Promote collaboration in humanities and social sciences (and related fields)
Enable fellows to access Oxford’s academic resources and research environment
Fellows spend time at the University of Oxford in the UK
Duration is typically around 2 months
Includes access to research facilities, seminars, and academic networks
Fellows may work with supervisors or research groups at Oxford
Provides financial support for travel and living costs
Covers accommodation and subsistence during the Oxford visit
May include research-related expenses depending on the award
Applicants generally must:
Be based in the Caribbean region
Be involved in academic or research work
Have a research project relevant to Caribbean studies or related fields
Demonstrate strong academic background and research potential
Be able to spend time at Oxford during the fellowship period
